Peaches are in season! Our little peach tree is busting with delicious juicy peaches! This yummy peach sorbet is dairy free and simple to make. It’s cool and refreshing and makes the perfect end to a summer meal.

Ingredients

6 large peaches
½ cup sugar
½ cup hot water
Juice of ½ a medium lemon
¼ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Method

Clean, peel and slice peaches. Place them into a freezer bag and freeze. Add sugar into hot water and stir until it dissolves making simple syrup. Add the frozen peaches, syrup and remaining ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or cover and freeze in a ceramic casserole dish or metal pan for later. It will keep a few days.
